On the morning of July 11, two faculty members from the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, led a team to visit the SUNHUNK Yanjiao Industrial Park for an on-site tour and special thematic exchange.

The Tsinghua team boasts profound expertise in automation disciplines, while SUNHUNK sets industry standards in the field of special vehicle manufacturing. This exchange enabled in-depth dialogue between both parties based on their respective strengths, representing mutual empowerment between a leading industrial enterprise and cutting-edge academia.
During the visit, the Tsinghua group toured the production workshops and corporate exhibition hall, learning about the operation of SUNHUNK’s automated production lines, core equipment applications, corporate development history and key technological achievements.

SUNHUNK’s years of engineering experience and proven product implementation capabilities in special vehicle manufacturing provided the visiting team with valuable real-world industry references.
At the subsequent forum, Mr. Jiang Mingyang, Deputy General Manager, together with relevant heads of the Product & Technology Department and Purchasing Department, held substantive discussions with the Tsinghua team regarding application prospects of AI intelligent robots in industrial scenarios and intelligent upgrading directions for production line process control.
Both sides have distinct strengths: the Tsinghua team has solid research foundations in advanced fields such as control theory and intelligent algorithms, whereas SUNHUNK possesses extensive practical experience in core product R&D and industrial production implementation. Their complementary perspectives facilitated targeted discussions addressing key industry pain points.
Moving forward, SUNHUNK will continue to collaborate closely with universities to leverage academic expertise, further integrate industry, academia and research, and embed intelligent technologies into product upgrades. This will drive continuous progress in manufacturing processes and breakthroughs in product quality.
