Senior executives of the Group, principal persons‑in‑charge from the general contractor, supervision institute and design institute, as well as middle‑level and above management staff and employee representatives of SUNHUNK Hebei, attended the ceremony to witness this landmark moment.

In July, the land of Yanzhao is brimming with vitality and thriving life. The Phase‑II site of SUNHUNK was decorated with fluttering colourful flags and towering ceremonial arches. Twenty dump trucks stood in neat formation and two excavators stood ready for operation. Salute cannons and the foundation stone awaited unveiling, while golden shovels wrapped in red silk stood out brilliantly in the morning sunlight. All participants wore safety helmets and lined up in good order amid a solemn yet vibrant atmosphere. The commencement ceremony officially kicked off at 8:00 a.m.

A representative of the construction contractor took the floor first and solemnly pledged to strictly observe safety and civilized construction standards throughout the whole process, rigorously control project quality, scientifically arrange construction schedules, and spare no effort to deliver a safe, high‑quality green premium project.

Amid eager attention from all attendees, Zhang Junyao, Deputy General Manager of the Group Development & Planning Center, delivered a speech. He reviewed the 20‑year‑long development journey of SUNHUNK Hebei rooted in Shijiazhuang: from desolate wilderness to a large‑scale industrial base today. Every step bears the spirit of SUNHUNK practitioners to forge ahead with courage and down‑to‑earth perseverance. Against the trend of intelligent and green transformation in the special‑purpose vehicle industry, the Group has officially launched the construction of its brand‑new intelligent manufacturing base.

The project will comprehensively upgrade four major digital production lines for blanking, welding, painting and assembly, supported by intelligent equipment, IoT systems and environmental‑protection facilities. Office and living supporting facilities will also be built to build a benchmark green smart factory for the industry. Mr. Zhang stressed that all parties must strictly guarantee safety and quality, jointly advance construction schedules, and equip all staff with intelligent‑manufacturing capabilities. After the ceremony, at 9:10 a.m., a project construction briefing meeting was convened in the second‑floor conference room of the company. All participating parties including general contractor, subcontractors, supervision and design institutes gathered to coordinate subsequent construction and align all construction‑related tasks.
